Highly Specialist Obesity Dietitian Nutrition and Dietetics
Vacancy Summary:
Eastern & Coastal Kent has the largest Nutrition and Dietetic service in Kent. We currently employ over 90 multi professional staff working in both acute and primary care settings.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced obesity Dietitian to join the newly formed Specialist Weight Management Service which consists of Physiologist, Counsellor, support worker and administration. The team is responsible for supporting and managing clients with morbid obesity.
You will be responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating the nutrition programme for this service along with taking the lead for Obesity within the department to provide expert advise and support to junior members.
Effective organisational abilities, good leadership and excellent communication skills are essential.
The department is committed to student training and has excellent IT and administration support.
You will receive on going support from team manager and the team. The department is committed to CPD, you will have the opportunity to lead on a number of department initiatives and complete various training to enhance your skills.
A comprehensive corporate induction programme is provided at the commencement of employment.
