Kent Science Park

James joined Kent Science Park as Site Director in December 2007.

He is primarily responsible for providing the leadership and direction of his team to ensure the science park achieves its aim of becoming the best performing science park in the UK.

James operates an open door policy to tenants and likes to work closely with them to ensure that they prosper at Kent Science Park.

Stephen Moore joined Kent Science Park in 1998.

Stephen is responsible for managing the sites 70 acre estate its buildings and services infrastructure. To assist him in this task he has an assistant J. Jaques as well as a team of 8 in-house maintenance staff and various speacialist contractors for Security, Landscaping and Cleaning.

Stephen also advises tenants on modifications to their buildings as well as taking a major role in the sites building development and improvement.

Babs took up the post as Site Administrator in May 1999.

She is responsible for the transition from enquiry to occupation for new tenant companies moving to Kent Science Park.  Her role includes liaising between relevant parties to ease and speed the legal process. 

Once on board, all tenants’ questions and queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently by Babs and the administration team. 

Jacquie has been working at Kent Science Park since May 2006. She now supports Stephen Moore, Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the site facilities.

Chris has been working at Kent Science Park since May 2001.

Chris is the friendly, fun, bubbly front of house and first point of contact for visitors to the science park.

She is responsible for the telephone answering service offered to tenant companies; responding, message taking and re-routing where appropriate. Chris is also the central point of contact for conference and meeting room bookings, photocopying and postal services.

Donna is responsible for the helpdesk where all tenant maintenance issues are reported and resolved.  She also provides support for our finance team based in London.

Donna joined Kent Science Park in January 2009.

Paul has been Marketing Director of Kent Science Park since 2006.

He is responsible for raising the profile and reputation of the Park through effective marketing and communications activities. Principally, these activities are designed to attract tenants and improve relations and communication with tenants and the local community.

Paul and his team organise regular networking and business critical talks held in the conference centre for the benefit of tenant companies. He is also responsible for working with tenants to help promote their respective businesses via PR activities and other initiatives such as co-exhibiting at business-to-business trade shows.

Paul is a Board Director of the Thames Gateway Chamber of Commerce and is Chair of the Swale Council, Thames Gateway Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Chair of the Swale Business Awards and runs a marketing focus group for the UK Science Park Association.

Richard joined Kent Science Park in September 2009 as Head of Business Development & Regional Liaison. Richard’s role is to develop and provide an interface between the Park’s tenants and local, national and international universities. By providing access to a range of university facilities, including some of the world’s leading academics, tenants can benefit from  a huge range of innovative research, consultancy, leading edge equipment, business advice, student projects and graduate recruitment. Richard can also provide introductions to regional support agencies and has developed links for Park tenants wishing to apply for proof of concept and seed funds, grants for research and development as well as business angel and venture capitalist investment.
