Welcome to the first in our new series of interviews with scientists and science business owners based on the Park.
The purpose of these profiles is for you to get to know other tenants on site, what they do, what they offer and how it could benefit you and your business. We have leading edge science taking place throughout the Park and more interactivity could benefit you and other businesses.
Our first interviewee is Neville Broad, Managing Director of Authenticate who discussed what his company does and how he can be of service to your business.
Neville W Broad PhD is the Managing Director at Authenticate Limited and has recently branched out creating a new division of the company: NWBSpectroscopy.
Neville studied at University of London School of Pharmacy in order to work in the investigative industry and is one of the UK’s foremost experts in counterfeit analysis.
Neville gained experience as a Technical Manager at Abbot Laboratories and a Team Leader at Pfizer amongst others. As well as running his business, Neville finds the time to be an Honorary Lecturer and mentor students at the University of Kent.
As a company, Authenticate take part in counterfeit analysis/training and the reviewing of new spectroscopy technology, mainly in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields but also within the food industry. The most successful arm of the business that has recently been launched is NWB Spectroscopy; which specialises in Molecular Spectroscopy.
With over 30 years experience in GxP, we offer independent, trusted analysis and can consult on instrument qualification (lifecycle) documentation, as well as new market potential review for spectroscopy.
Current clients include JDSU, Rigaku Raman Technologies and brand owners in the pharmaceutical industry.
